The town
Pujalt is a small village with stone houses that belongs to the municipality of Sort, province of Lleida (Catalonia). It is located in the region of Pallars Sobirà at an altitude of 1,100 metres, which offers impressive views of the Pyrenees mountains, including the highest mountain in Catalonia, the Pica d'Estats at 3,143m (Pujalt is the only village in Catalonia from which you can see it). There is also a viewpoint from which you can see the valley of Sort. There is also a viewpoint from which the valley of Sort can be seen.

There are many different activities available in the area:
There are many routes that leave from the village in the direction of Olp, Enviny and Sort that will allow you to do different routes depending on the time you have available. There are also places of great beauty for hiking such as the National Park of Aiguestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici.
Cycling enthusiasts will be able to enjoy wonderful routes on both road and mountain bikes with spectacular views and scenery. Important cycling races such as the Vuelta a España and the Volta a Catalunya have had stages that have passed through Pujalt and other mountain passes in the area.
The river Noguera Pallaresa flows through Sort, the only one in Catalonia where you can do activities such as rafting, kayaking and hydrospeed.
In the area there are many canyons of different levels of difficulty that we can do depending on our experience.
In winter there are different ski resorts nearby such as Port Ainé (35 minutes) or Baqueira (55 minutes).
In the area there are many paths that in winter when they are full of snow you can do activities such as snowshoeing, especially the Bosc de Virós has several routes to do with snowshoes depending on the difficulty and length, or in the Parc Nacional d’Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici itself.
